The Microsoft Forefront TMG Firewall service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 25 time(s).
Schannel : The following fatal alert was received: 48.
Yeah,so I've not yet been able to figure out the actual cause although I've tried the following stuff..
Inspite of all this,no results yet....Still figuring it out...
- Disabled logging
- Disabled URL Filtering
- Installed SP1 for TMG
- Installed Update 2 which comes with a few hotfixes
- Checked the proxy chain...only the default chain is left
- Changed the web proxy portUpdate: I think I’ve Found the solution…it was due to multiple services in the firewall using the SSL port. I disabled SSTP and it worked.
But,I’m not satisfied with it yet. I wish I could run multiple apps on port no 443…whoever invented ports should’ve thought better….
